Job Description
Carbide Die Maker – Direct Hire
Local manufacturer is seeking experienced Carbide Tool & Die Maker for a direct hire opportunity.
Hours: Mon – Fri, 6:30am to 3pm
Pay: $20-$25/hour
Carbide Die Maker Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Carbide Tool & Die work
- Thorough knowledge of tool & die making practices
- Sound working knowledge of tool & die designs and construction
- Knowledge of metal properties
- Advanced shop mathematics knowledge required
- Ability to operate standard shop machine tools
- Knowledge of layout, machining, and tool assembly procedures
- Experience making progressive and compound draw dies
- Communication and team skills needed to complete projects on time
- Ability to read/write reports, drawings and work instructions
