Job Description

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES In general, the successful candidate could be deployed to support any area in the organization deemed necessary by the Controller.   This position is highly energetic requiring significant multi-tasking and exceptional communication skills across many aspects of the business. Below is a partial list of support functions for this position. GENERAL   The ideal candidate must be:
  1. A self-motivated generalist with the ability to adapt to daily priority changes within the organization 
  2. May be required to assist any area of the organization.  These areas include but are not limited to: Information Technology, Operations, and Cybersecurity
  3. Candidate must be able to embrace learning and grow with the organization
  4. Candidate will be required to absorb high level tasks and create, formulate, and execute specific efficient plans and strategies to complete the assignments
  5. Candidate will function as a key member within the team
  6. Requires crisp focus and excellent multi-disciplined communication skills
 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY  The candidate’s job duties may include:
  1. Updating hardware and software packages
  2. Revising documentation
  3. Installing computer and network systems
  4. Removing malware and other security threats
  5. Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual information systems maintenance
  6. Monitoring computer system backups
  7. Preventing data corruption
  8. May also provide IT support for non-technical employees 
  9. Facilitate end-user training on new software applications and other technology.
OPERATIONS The candidate may be needed to support various operations, which could include but is not limited to moving IT equipment, area maintenance, and physically cleaning and dusting computers.  CYBERSECURITY The candidate may be required to support our ongoing cybersecurity compliance projects, which could include but is not limited to assisting in making operational changes, and testing.     OTHER SPECIFIC DUTIES
  1. Assist with maintaining network / system security by following NIST type best practices.
  2. Assist with maintaining and upgrading existing computer network and systems including software, workstations, and other physical hardware
  3. Assist with installing and configuring equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues
  4. Assist with communicating and escalating networking issues to other IT team members and management
  5. Assist with troubleshooting flaws in software, hardware configuration, and communications equipment, and then fixing problems as they arise
  6. Assist with fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems
  7. Assist with setting up new users  
  8. Assist with creating and maintaining a knowledge base of issues and resolutions
  9. Assist with systems imaging and onboarding/offboarding users
  10. Assist with supporting management for antivirus, email, patches, and applications
  11. Assist with creating and managing active directory and email accounts
  12. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
  13. Participates in special projects as required
  14. All other duties as assigned by the Controller

MIMINUM REQUIREMENTS
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. 2-4+ years’ experience, however, will consider certifications or schooling  
  3. Good analytical background
  4. Knowledge of networking services and common networking protocols
  5. Computer proficiency and understanding of various types of hardware and software
  6. Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills
  7. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  8. Exceptional attention to detail
  9. Demonstrated ability to overcome challenges and drive projects to completion
  10. Helpful but not required: A+ /Network+ / Security + / MCP / Microsoft Fundamentals
  11. U.S. Citizen, no dual citizenship allowed

  1. A technical 4-year college/university degree preferred
  2. Microsoft Windows desktop environment
  3. Microsoft Windows server environment
  4. Windows Hyper-V virtual environment
  5. Microsoft office 365 products
  6. Cisco network products and routing protocols
  7. SolidWorks Enterprise PDM software
  8. MATLAB Simulink
  9. LabVIEW or equivalent
  10. OSI Model and network functions
  11. Badge readers and door locks
  12. QMS
  13. Help desk services
  14. NIST 800-171
  15. CMMC
  16. MCSE certifications

  1. The office environment is considered normal. Temperature and noise levels in the plant may require use of personal protective equipment
  2. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to talk, hear, and use hands to type on keyboard.  Specific visions abilities required by this job include vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
