Job Description
MACHINE OPERATOR/PACKER – 3rd shift
AWESOME opportunities with LOTS OF OVERTIME at highly regarded confectionery manufacturer in Loves Park.
- $16.60 hourly rate
- Minimum 10 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, and Friday OVERTIME!
- 7:50PM- 6:20AM
- Packaging line work - feeding, hand packing, sorting, labeling, stacking, off-loading
- Machine Operation on automatic and semi-automatic machines
- Transporting product and material
- Visual and physical inspection of product and packaging
- Weigh raw material in accordance with batch sheets
- May be required to feed gum into rolling and scoring machine and extruder
- General housekeeping of work area
- Effective communication with co-workers
- Stand throughout shift excluding break periods
- Lift up to 42 pounds
- Reach, bend, and twist
- Visually inspect product and packaging
- Good oral communication skills and legible handwriting
- Willingness to follow CDC COVID-19 related work practices including wearing a mask throughout duration of shift and maintaining 6’ distancing when possible.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- FORKLIFT experience is highly valued.
- Reliable employees with strong work ethic will be considered for hire by company when opportunities are available
- HS or GED is required to be considered for hire-on opportunity
