Job Description
Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all department employees and must assure compliance with all safety, quality and housekeeping standards. Supervises all personnel and operations in the department. Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment. Trains, upgrades, evaluate & review all dept. employees and assures adherence to current ISO procedures and safety procedures. Ensures that established policy, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed. Distributes plant status reports to the next shift Supervisor and Area Manager. Troubleshoots problems. Will perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications: High school diploma and or/equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Three (3) years' experience in supervision in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of equipment & processes. Must have good written and oral skills. Ability to solve problems. Ability to lead by example. Must be a team player. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more. Experience with Excel, Word, & AS400.
