Job Description
A local Rockford company is looking for an Industrial Technician on first shift.This is a direct hire position! Hours: 7am-3: 30pm, Monday-FridayPay: $17-$25 Depending on Experience Knowledge and Skills:
• Mechanical abilities and industrial or maintenance background preferred
• Ability to read tape measurer to 1/16"
• Use various tools: Hand tools, grinders/cut-offs, saws, drills, leveling equipment
• Use of metal fabrication equipment a plus: drill press, shear, brake, iron-worker
• Familiarity with welding equipment preferred
• Basic electrical skills are desirable Essential Position Requirements:
• Follow all company and customer safety and quality requirements
• Assist in ordering, inventorying, and storing equipment, parts, and supplies
• Responsible for the care, safe & efficient use, of tools, parts, & supplies
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
• Work at higher elevations as required
• Ability to work outside in local seasonal weather conditions
• Ability to adapt to changing Customer requests
• Prompt and dependable attendance
• Other duties as assigned
• Operation of industrial equipment: Fork Lift, Scissor Lift, etc., as needed
• Willing to become part of a TEAM and communicate effectively and with integrity Work Experience:
• Metal Fabrication / Welding, Maintenance, and Mechanical experience preferred
• Valid driver' s license - Essential
• The team leader position will require supervisory and managerial skills Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from the ground
