Weatherization Energy Efficiency Assistant

Hours - Monday - Friday 8am -3: 30pmPayrate - starting at 15.00 - experience taken into consideration

Job Duties
- Assist Weatherization assessor in assessments of homes to identify measures to increase energy efficiency
- Discuss educational materials and training to property owners
- Assist in maintaining weatherization project files with accurate record
- Input information into the weatherization computer system
- Assist Weatherization assessor in monitoring work to ensure adherence to proper standards, methods, and material specifications
- Complete State mandated training for the various levels of certification necessary
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
- Graduation from an accredited HS or vocational School
- Valid Driver' s License
- Have working knowledge of computers
- Prior construction and/or HVAC experience
- Math Proficiency
- Ability to communicate effectively with persons of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds
- Able to lift 30 lbs, climb a ladder, and crawl into attics and crawl spaces
